Thank you to Heffers in Cambridge for giving me such a warm welcome this weekend. It was a real pleasure to visit the bookshop, and thanks to all the local readers who came to say hello and buy my books.
Independent bookshop? Ah, no I just googled it and it belongs to Blackwell. But still. I haven't been in one of those in ages, I remember it is a chain often found in/close to universities. I am glad you enjoyed your time there. Cambridge is a lovely city, a city of book lovers.

Yes, Guillaume, it's a chain, but not as large as Waterstones. I only know the one in Cambridge, but it's a fabulous store.
